MARY CICCONETTI 

OBOE AND ENGLISH HORN

Mary Cicconetti is a freelance musician in the Boston area and currently serves on the faculties at Powers Music School and Milton Academy. Her prior teaching appointments include Boston University, Newton Public Schools, Brookline Music School, and Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Cicconetti has performed with orchestras throughout New England including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Pops Orchestra, Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, and the Portland Symphony Orchestra. She currently serves as second oboe with the Cape Symphony Orchestra, second oboe/English horn with the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra, and oboe/English horn with the Boston Landmarks Orchestra. Cicconetti has participated in numerous music festivals including Opera North, Buzzards Bay MusicFest, Sarasota, Aspen, and Texas Music Festivals.

Cicconetti lives in Boston (Roslindale) with her husband, Andrew Goodrich, a music education professor at Boston University, and their West Highland White Terrier, Lily. She is an avid tennis player and competes in several leagues.
